What is Active Load Management?

Active Load Management (ALM) is a system used to manage the distribution of electricity so that the overall demand on the power output at any one time is reduced. This method can be used in domestic and commercial settings where there are multiple electric vehicle chargers installed

The ALM system ensures that each charger is only using the available power and that no one charger is drawing too much power and overloading the system. This helps to protect both the grid and the individual chargers, as well as reducing the overall cost of electricity

The ALM system can be used in conjunction with an online monitoring system, so that usage can be monitored and controlled remotely. This is particularly useful for commercial settings, where there may be a lot of electric vehicles being charged at different times
