Catalyst Bicester is a new sustainable business community in Bicester, developed by Albian Land for technology, advanced manufacturing and high-performance engineering companies.
Designed with sustainability at its core, the development comprises highly sustainable light industrial units, each achieving a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’. As part of the development, EV charging infrastructure was installed to provide convenient charging for staff and visitors across the site.
The Challenge
As a modern business community designed to support forward-thinking technology and engineering businesses, Catalyst required reliable EV charging infrastructure to complement its sustainable development.
With multiple light industrial units being delivered as part of a phased development, the charging solution needed to provide sufficient capacity for staff and visitors while making effective use of the available space.
The Solution
Sevadis supplied a total of 40 MaxiCharger 7.4kW AC charge points across two units at Catalyst Bicester.
The charge points were installed using a combination of single, dual and quad outlet pillars, providing a flexible charging solution that can accommodate different site requirements while helping to optimise available space.
With 7.4kW charging, universal Type 2 sockets and a reliable design, the installation provides accessible EV charging facilities ready for use as the units become occupied.
