Subsea7 is a global subsea engineering, construction and services company serving the offshore energy industry.
As part of its commitment to providing convenient EV charging for staff and visitors, Subsea7 required a bespoke turnkey charging solution for its underground car park.
Working in partnership with NG Bailey, Sevadis supplied and supported the deployment of a tailored EV charging infrastructure designed to accommodate the unique requirements of the site and provide reliable, accessible charging across multiple locations within the car park.
The Solution
The project incorporated 24 MaxiChargers, with a combination of wall-mounted and pillar-mounted configurations to maximise the available space and provide charging facilities throughout the underground car park.
The charging infrastructure was integrated with Fuuse’s EV charge point management platform, giving Subsea7 visibility of charging activity and power consumption. This provides the site with greater oversight of its charging infrastructure and helps support effective management of energy usage.
To overcome the challenges associated with delivering power and data within an underground environment, floor-to-soffit telescopic trunking was installed. This enabled power and data connections to be fed from a high level while providing a practical solution suited to the car park’s specific layout.
The result was a fully integrated, bespoke EV charging solution tailored to the needs of Subsea7, its staff and visitors.
