And just like that, 2023 is almost over. What a year it has been for Sevadis!

As we ushered in the new year of 2023, our journey has been nothing short of remarkable, marked by resounding successes and notable achievements. The opening chapters of the year geared us up to being one of the most talked about EV charging solutions providers in the UK market. With our team’s unwavering dedication and commitment to providing only the best solutions and service to our customers, we were set for a year of significant growth.

From new product launches, i.e. the MaxiCharger with LCD Screen to ensuring optimal safety of our EV charging solutions with the integration of compliant smart charging facilities, 2023 started on a high. The start of the year also saw us strategically including DC charging solutions to our portfolio, with the support of our manufacturing partner, Autel. The introduction of a robust DC charging offering meant that we could provide businesses and organisations with wide choice to suit their EV charging requirements.

Of course, the roll out of our EV charging solutions required the formation of electrical installation partners who are experienced in deploying EV charging points and infrastructure at scale. Our strong portfolio of AC and DC EV chargers, as well as our trusted service levels made for the ideal partnership with key nationwide electrical installation companies, all of whom specialise in large-scale EV charge point installations. 2023 saw us establish strategic partnerships with well-esteemed EV charge point installation companies such as ChargedEV, AMP EV, Mr Charger, Radius Charged and BAM Site Solutions, to name a few. These strategic partnerships are crucial to providing our collective customers with a complete turnkey EV charging solution whilst contributing to our growth and presence in the UK market.

After conducting research on EV charge point aftercare and maintenance, we identified that businesses and organisations require support in taking care of their EV charging points. As a result of this, we further strengthened our offering to provide EV charge point aftercare and maintenance services in partnership with Devitech, specialists in providing EV charge point support and maintenance for commercial locations. Devitech shares the same values as us – quality service with the customer at the heart of our respective businesses.

Partnering with key external stakeholders, matched with our expertise in EV charging solutions and commitment to providing the only the best service provided us with ample opportunities throughout the year. We are now proudly supporting the EV charging infrastructure deployment for businesses and organisations such as SEGRO, British Airways, Wates Construction, Russell Homes, Footlocker, Panatonni – to name a few.

Feedback from customers, whether that be electrical contractors/installers, or businesses themselves, tells us that people choose to work with Sevadis because we provide EV charging solutions that are reliable and hardware that possess high quality features. Though, the most important piece of consistent feedback we receive is our level of service – with 95% of our incoming calls being answered within 10 seconds, it is fair to say that our extraordinary customer and technical service levels play a crucial role in decision making for our customers.

The feedback we have received from our customers has proven to gain momentum in the industry as we have experienced notable achievements in the EV and electric landscape in the form of recognition at industry awards ceremonies. For the first time in the 4 years of Sevadis trading, we became finalists for two major industry awards; EVIES – Best New Product (C&I and Public) and ECN Awards – EV Charging Product of the Year. In the latter, we achieved ‘highly commended’ status for our commitment and dedication to providing reliable, safe and innovative EV charging solutions to the electrical industry.

As Sevadis continues to evolve as an EV charging solutions provider, the end of year sees us welcome a new EV charging manufacturer to our portfolio, EVbee, an emerging innovative EV charge point manufacturer. This partnership will introduce the launch of a new, affordable and smart EV charging solution to the UK market, specifically designed for the housing developer market and for EV drivers requiring quality EV charging solutions without breaking the bank.

Whilst 2023 has presented challenges along the way in the form of cost of living, cost of raw materials, the extension of the petrol/diesel vehicle ban and changing regulations, for Sevadis, it has been a year of growth and prosperity.
